These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pactlark, operated by Pactlark ("we," "us," "our"). By using Pactlark, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Pactlark is an AI-powered operations tool for independent creators that organizes sponsorship emails, contracts, deliverables, deadlines, usage rights, and payment information. The service is provided "as is" and we may modify or discontinue features at any time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the service for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to access other users' data; (c) reverse-engineer or disrupt the service; (d) upload content you don't have the right to share.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of emails, contracts, and other content you connect to Pactlark. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service. We do not sell your content.
5. AI processing
Pactlark uses automated processing to extract campaign details from your content. AI output may contain errors — you are responsible for verifying deliverables, dates, and payment terms before acting on them.
6. Payments
Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled case by case.
7. Intellectual property
The Pactlark name, branding, and software are our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST SPONSORSHIP REVENUE.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
